The Story of Dispatch Editions Gabriela Romanová
Příběh Edice Expedice (The Story of Dispatch Editions) introduces readers in highly accessible but also faithfully researched form to the “life” of one of the most important samizdat publishers in the then Czechoslovakia, the gestation of which involved Václav Havel. The first part of the book, supplemented with a great number of documentary photographs, describes not only the production of the books and their domestic and international distribution but also the persecution that the creators and readers of the Dispatch Editions faced in the normalisation period.
